Cerrado: The Heart of the Brazilian Savannah

Cerrado: The Heart of the Brazilian Savannah

The story of the Cerrado is one of pioneering spirit and ideal conditions. It is Brazil's great savannah, a vast tropical and subtropical biome covering over 20% of the country. This is a place of profound ecological importance—it is one of the most biodiverse ecoregions on Earth, with roughly 5% of the world's species calling it home.

This land provides a perfect natural rhythm for the beans. The climate is kept balanced and fertile by well-defined wet and dry seasons and abundant sunlight. This stable environment allows the various smallholders who grow our coffee to achieve the hallmark quality the Cerrado is famous for: consistency.

Pioneering Spirit and Modern Quality

The producers in Cerrado are defined by their entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to advanced farming practices. This region is flat and high-altitude, sitting between 900 and 1250 meters above sea level, which has made it renowned.

We select the best Catucaí, Mundo Novo, and Catuai varieties from various smallholders, processed using the Natural Method, ensuring a consistently beautiful and reliable cup.
